Titanfall Review - The Digital Fix

Added: 24.03.2014 15:15 | 16 views | 0 comments

The hype train has been beating this drum for sometime now, and Microsoft appear to have bet the house on it. Created by the greatest minds of Infinity Ward, led by the same people who brought us Call of Duty Modern Warfare and backed by the money of Electronic Arts, it was either going to be the system seller the Xbox One badly needed or a complete flop. Luckily for those of us who chose to buy the more expensive (comes with Kinect though, woo hoo) console last November, Titanfall is an absolute delight for both hardcore and more casual gamers alike.

Review: Titanfall - MKGaming

Added: 18.03.2014 19:15 | 10 views | 0 comments

MKGaming - "Developed by Respawn Entertainment, Titanfall is their first title and it has been getting a lot of hype. Respawn is made up of a lot of ex-Infinity Ward employees, the developers of the Modern Warfare series, which no matter how much you do or dont like them, you have to admit, they were game changers. Its therefore no surprise that Respawns first title is a first person shooter, which bears a lot of similarities to the Call of Duty series, except it has robots in it, giant robots."

Frugal Gaming Review | Titanfall Xbox One

Added: 16.03.2014 20:15 | 14 views | 0 comments

Not since Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has the FPS genre made such giant strides forward, and although this can sometimes lead to missteps, Titanfall is much more hit than miss- Writes Brapscallion.

Next-Gen Face-Off: Titanfall

Added: 15.03.2014 18:15 | 13 views | 0 comments

A lot rides on the success of Titanfall. For Respawn Entertainment it is the culmination of four years' hard work - the first project that many of the team has shipped since the release of Modern Warfare 2 in November 2009. For Electronic Arts, it's a chance to redeem something from its lacklustre EA Partners endeavour, while the game represents Microsoft's biggest hope in regaining momentum and catching up with the PlayStation juggernaut. In our opinion, Titanfall is a stand-out game that must be played - but Xbox One is perhaps not the best platform to play it on.

Titanfall Review: Welcome to the Multiplayer Gaming Frontier | MediaStinger

Added: 15.03.2014 6:16 | 19 views | 0 comments

MediaStinger: "These days, first person shooters are a dime a dozen. Hell, even some FPSs are free to play online! With so many new games and sequels being pushed out year after year, its easy to see how the innovation from developers could start dwindling and hardcore gamers could start developing shooter fatigue. Thankfully, after the fiasco at Activision that left them unemployed, the talented Infinity Ward developers who revolutionized the industry with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare are back. Regrouped under the new name Respawn Entertainment, founders Jason West and Vince Zampella along with other talent from Infinity Ward are focused on once again shaking things up a bit in the industry and trying to topple their previous titan. Standby for Titanfall."

News: Is High Moon developing this year's Call of Duty for Xbox 360 PS3?

Added: 11.03.2014 15:18 | 9 views | 0 comments

Transformers developer working on "high profile first-person shooter" using Call of Duty level editor.

Multiple listings state that High Moon is developing a "high-profile, First Person Shooter", with one specifying that the game is heading to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, and another asking for experience with Radiant Engine – the level editor used to create single player and multiplayer maps for the Call of Duty series.

Other listings refer to the unannounced title as "exciting" and "action-packed".

Activision has yet to announce High Moon's next title or confirm its involvement with this year's Call of Duty, which is being led out of Modern Warfare 3 co-creator...
